I didn't have high expectations of this item, but it ended up surprising me. Upon opening the package, a couple of the bristles were bent from how it was packaged. And i was concerned how this will hold up in a travel bag or suitcase.I put this in the outside pocket of my swim bag, in its carrying case. To my surprise, it dried my curly hair quite well on the low setting and gave me some good volume. The handle is thick but it's easy to grip and navigate. I rarely use tools on my curl hair because it takes a while got them to dry my hair and usually leaves a lot of frizz - but this did not happen with this item. My hair smoothed out very nicely (i used anti frizz product, Moroccan oil, and a curl cream).I'm very impressed with this tool. I can see myself using it more often. I think they're is room for design improvement with the addition of a hard shell to go around the top portion to protect the heat source and the bristles. So this is my primary concern with how well it will hold up, given it's advertised for travel.The size is compact but honestly not too much smaller than other hair tools. It does come with a few helpful additions, like a voltage adjustment, plug in converter, and tool to remove hair from the bristles.Overall - it works better than I anticipated. I deducted one star as i can see the lack of protection for the bristles being an issue when travelling with this item - packing it will be an issue.UPDATE: for the second use of the item, the bristles were much more crooked and misaligned. And the item was stored in the outside pocket of my gym bag so it wouldn't get wrecked in the main pocket. Unfortunately i don't see the bristles holding up for travel use, however it could still work for home use. If you're thinking of getting this for travel, i would discourage. I am changing the rating from 4 stars to 3 stars as the misaligned bristles made it harder for me to settle my hair with this tool the second time i used it.

I have never used a hair dryer brush before. It is super convenient to give yourself a nice blowout without having to go to a salon. The wand was quite light compared to my hair dryer, which weighs a ton and can cause shoulder cramp with how long it takes to dry hair. Also nice was the bristle set up that did not catch my long hair or cause my hair to become tangled around the brush.The included velvet pouch holds all the essentials as pictured, and the dual voltage combined with the light weight of this dryer make it a no brainer to pack for travel.My only one issue is that this dryer didn’t work great on my hair. I have naturally coarse, curly hair that is also colour treated. As soon as the heat touched my hair, it started to frizz. No amount of product worked to tame this frizz—anti-frizz product, leave in conditioner, heat protectant spray. I can’t blame the brush because I do feel that it’s the nature of my hair to be unruly. More often than not if I want to have straight hair I’ll heat style after the fact, so I was really excited to try the dryer brush. I really don’t think it’s the product’s fault that it didn’t work for me.

I was really surprised with this new brush!The barrel is shorter than my current dryer so I was concerned about it taking longer in my morning. I made a few adjustments and it ended up taking less time. The power is amazing, comparable to professional brushes.It's well worth the adjustments!!I'm used to the settings/ power buttons being sideways on the brush but honestly the change is no effort.My curls look great and I'm getting compliments again on my hair! Not to mention that I wake up the next day to the curls still being strong.I highly recommend this dryer brush!!

I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair (and most everything else too). I want my hair to look decent but spend as little time as possible on it. My usual routine is head down and blasting my hair with a blow dryer. I often don't wait until it is fully dry before I use a straightener, curling iron, or hot-air brush to tame the frizz and shape it a bit. But that means steam rises from the parts I didn’t fully dry.I don’t have the patience to use this hot-air brush to dry my whole head from wet, but I’ve been using it as a finishing tool after my regular blow-dry. It smooths and shapes my hair while finishing the drying process. That means my hair stays smooth or curled for the day instead of falling flat or frizzing out. So this tool is working well for me.
