Drying hair is a daily routine for most people. It offers numerous benefits, including speeding up the drying process, reducing frizz, maintaining scalp health, and adding volume and smoothness to the hair. Therefore, mastering the correct and effective way to use a hairdryer is essential. This skill is highly valuable, whether for obtaining a beautician license or for styling your hair at home. This tutorial will teach you how to dry your hair safely and effectively!
You will need the following tools:
A comb
A hairdryer
A clean towel
Hair clips
Any hair care products you require
After properly washing your hair, gently dry it with a clean towel. Use the towel to absorb moisture and squeeze out excess water to prepare your hair for drying.
Once your hair is towel-dried, gently comb or brush it to smooth it out. If needed, you can use a conditioner to make this step easier.
At this point, you may choose to apply your preferred hair care products. This step is crucial for protecting and maintaining the health of your hair.
Before using a hairdryer, it’s important to understand how to use it correctly. We recommend using a hairdryer that maintains a constant temperature to better protect your hair during drying. Most hairdryers become extremely hot at the nozzle due to high temperatures, which can damage hair. That’s why I’d like to recommend the slopehill AC Hair Dryer. It features a cool air button, three heat settings, and an airflow control knob, meeting all your drying and styling needs.

Hold the slopehill AC Hair Dryer with your dominant hand, and use the other hand to gently press your scalp while directing the airflow. Constantly move the hairdryer up and down during use. Always keep the hairdryer about 15 cm (6 inches) away from your head to avoid burns. For added safety, you can also use a lower temperature setting.
Use a comb to lift a section of hair starting near the roots. Comb through this section while continuously moving the hairdryer to focus on drying the combed hair. As you move the comb downward, dry the hair section by section. Repeat this process until the entire section is completely dry.

After completing one section, continue repeating the steps above until you reach the crown of your head. When drying the top section, if you haven’t pre-partioned your hair, it will air-dry naturally into your desired style.
